An outstanding statement piece to a beachside retreat, this gateway creates a visually stunning entrance to the property. The customer wanted a single piece portal with no knee joint which required curving 7.2 meter long beams for a total of 26 portal arms.

In order to meet the designer’s specification for the radius of the knee joint, we had to machine profile the inner curve. In addition, we machined pockets in the beams during manufacturing to ensure rapid assembly of the battens and quick installation of the structure on site.
